World AIDS Day

Clint Walters was the first young person in the UK to publicly speak out about his virus since 1999 for the National AIDS Trust ‘World AIDS Day’ and MTV ‘Staying Alive’. Clint joined forces with Student Partnership Worldwide to raise awareness in universities across the UK. The end result was the first Student Stop AIDS Societies in the UK. Addressing policy issues with the All Parliamentary Group on AIDS.

Clint has appeared on many prime time spots to put a ‘youth face’ to the virus and to fight the stigma and isolation that many young people face reaching over 15 million worldwide. HI has developed a speaker’s bureau for young people to become involved in raising awareness.
